In order to enhance the protection of your privacy, we provide this information regarding our privacy protection policy and the options available to you while browsing and using the website, and regarding our practices for collecting information on the website.

By using the website and/or by engaging with the Firm, you agree to the collection, retention and use of information by us in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the provisions of any applicable law.

It is hereby clarified that you are not legally obligated to provide “Personal Information” as defined in the Protection of Privacy Law, 1981 (the “Law”), including Amendment No. 13 to the Law (information such as first and last name, ID number, address, email address, telephone number, and any detail by which you may be reasonably identified), and that providing such information is done voluntarily and with your consent.

You acknowledge that refusal to provide certain details may adversely affect our ability to provide you with certain services on the website and/or to handle your inquiry.

Where you have given your consent, the information may also be used for marketing, advertising and direct mailing purposes (including by email and/or other means of communication), in accordance with the provisions of law.

If you have registered to receive mailings, we will send you newsletters, updates and marketing content to the email address you provided. Registration for Services

Some services on the website require registration, during which you will be asked to provide personal information, such as your name, telephone number, email address and additional details, including through “Contact Us” forms and/or newsletter signup forms (if any). Some fields are mandatory. Without providing the required information in the mandatory fields, you will not be able to register for services that require registration and/or submit an inquiry. As part of such registration, you undertake to provide only true and accurate details.

Use of Information

While using the website, information may be collected and accumulated, including, among other things, information regarding your browsing characteristics, the pages and content you viewed, time spent on the website, IP address, referral source to the website, and the offers and services that interested you. In addition, information you provide to us on your own initiative is collected (for example, when contacting us and/or subscribing to the newsletter), such as name, email address and telephone number (collectively, the “Information”). The Company will retain the Information in its databases. The Information will be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy and/or the provisions of any applicable law, for the purposes set out below.

You may contact us at any time via the unsubscribe link in the messages or by contacting us directly. Except as set out in this Policy, the Company will not provide your personal details to advertisers for marketing or commercial purposes.

Retention Period for Personal Information

The Firm will retain personal information for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes set out in this Policy, including for control purposes and legal protection, and within the period permitted by law. The retention period depends on the purposes of collection, the manner in which the information is used, and the applicable legal requirements.

Disclosure of Information to Third Parties

The Company will not transfer to third parties your personal details and information collected about your activity on the website (to the extent that such information personally identifies you), except in the following cases and only to the extent necessary:

If a user uses links and/or referrals to third-party websites or services (if any) that appear on the website, the user may be required to provide them with information. The use of information provided to such third parties is subject to their privacy policies and not to this Policy. The Company is not responsible for disclosure of information by the user to third parties, and sole responsibility will rest with the user.

The Company may use external service providers for the operation of the website, hosting, mailing, measurement and analytics services, and statistical analyses. The Company will transfer to such providers only the information required to provide the services, and such providers shall be prohibited from using the information for any other purpose.

  • Where you have authorized the Company to transfer your personal details to third parties.

  • Where you breach the website’s Terms of Use or any of the services offered through it, or if you perform, through the website or in connection with it, actions that appear to be contrary to law, or an attempt to perform such actions.

  • If the Company receives a court order or a demand from a competent authority instructing it to provide your details or information about you to a third party, or if the Company is required to do so as part of legal proceedings, including in the event of a dispute, claim, demand or lawsuit between you and the Company and/or any person on its behalf.

  • In any case where the Company believes that disclosure of the information is necessary to prevent serious harm to your body or property or to the body or property of a third party.

  • Any dispute, claim, lawsuit, demand or legal proceedings, if any, between you and the Company and/or any other third party, in connection with which the Company is required to disclose information.

  • If the Company organizes the website’s activity within another corporation, and also in the event it merges with another entity or merges the website’s activity with the activity of a third party, it will be entitled to transfer to the new corporation a copy of the information accumulated about you on the websites or any statistical information in its possession, provided that such corporation undertakes toward you to comply with this Privacy Policy.

 

Right to Access Information

Under the Law, any person is entitled to review information about themselves held in a database, either personally, through an authorized attorney-in-fact who has been authorized in writing, or through their guardian. A person who has reviewed information about themselves and found it to be inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or outdated may contact the database owner requesting that the information be corrected or deleted. If the database owner refuses to comply with such request, the owner must notify the requester in the manner and form set out in the regulations. A requester may appeal to the Magistrate’s Court, in the manner and form set out in the regulations, against a refusal to allow access, or against a refusal notice to correct or delete information.

(The right to request review of personal information under Section 13 of the Law, and the right to request correction of personal information under Section 14 of the Law, subject to submission of a request and the conditions set out in the relevant provisions of the Law.)

In addition, if information in the Company’s databases is used for direct personal outreach to you, based on your affiliation with a population group determined by one or more characteristics of persons whose names are included in the database (a commercial solicitation), then you are entitled under the Law to demand in writing that the information relating to you be deleted from the Company’s database. Information required by the Company for the management of its business, including documentation of commercial and other actions you performed on the website, will continue to be retained by the Company as required by law, but will no longer be used for outreach to you. If within 30 days you do not receive notice that the information the Company was requested to delete has indeed been deleted under this provision, you will be entitled to apply to the Magistrate’s Court in the manner set out in the regulations, in order for it to instruct the Company to act accordingly.

 

The Company’s Commitment to Information Security

The Company implements information security systems and procedures on the website and acts to the best of its ability to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of the information. While these systems and procedures reduce the risks of unauthorized intrusion, they do not provide absolute security. Therefore, the Company does not guarantee that the services on the website will be completely immune from unauthorized access to the information stored therein.

The website may include links to other websites. The Company is not responsible for the content of such websites and/or their privacy policies and/or their information security practices, and it is recommended to review the privacy policy of those websites.

If you do not agree with the updated Policy, you must stop using our website.
